In this PLC, you will work together with other rural teachers to support each other in the implementation of Patterns in your classroom. There will be opportunities to share your ideas, practices, and modifications with each other and to learn from the collective experience of other teachers who have the unique opportunity to teach in small rural schools. We will use a problem of practice protocol to share struggles and to ask and receive support from like-minded teachers. This will be an active experience where teachers can build relationships with other teachers. You will be expected to share your experiences and to respond and provide feedback to others.

Oregon high school science teachers will be paid a stipend of $50/hour to attend up to a maximum of $400 per quarter (Quarter 1 = January - March; Quarter 2 = April - June).
