In our upcoming session, the spotlight will be on Teacher Desmos, a great tool for math educators. Attendees will explore how to maximize its features for classroom instruction, with a special emphasis on promoting higher-level thinking and effective mathematical practices. We'll also have an interactive discussion around its applications. Participants will get hands-on practice with advanced features tailored for educators, like getting real-time student progress. To round off the workshop, teachers will have an opportunity to find and explore a Teacher Desmos-based activity to use in their classroom.

Facilitator: Bradford Hill

Oregon high school teachers will be paid a stipend of $50/hour to attend up to a maximum of $400 per quarter (Quarter 1 = January - March; Quarter 2 = April - June).
