PLC - Unit 5 Chemical Reactions - Participants will be asked to reflect on their experience of teaching Unit 4 in their classroom. We will use a Problem of Practice Protocol to facilitate teacher-teacher interactions. This is an opportunity for teachers who are teaching Patterns Chemistry to interact and share with each other, to build relationships as well as to learn from others. Teacher participants are expected to actively engage in conversations and reflections. A special breakout room will be provided for teachers who teach in a rural setting. Oregon high school science teachers will be paid a stipend of $50/hour to attend up to a maximum of $400 per quarter (Quarter 1 = January - March; Quarter 2 = April - June).
